Iranian ‘The Other’ to compete at Norgs fest

Iranian short flick ‘The Other’ has been selected to compete at the 2021 Norgs International Independent Festival (NIIF) in Isfahan.

The short film will compete with 10 other titles from Iran, Spain, France, the US, Portugal, Italy and India.

Directed by Zahra Torkamanlou, the short film tells the story of a person who is unable to recover the internal identity and the outside situation is not in favor.

The cast list includes Mohaddeseh Heyrat, Farzad Mohammadzadeh, and Hassan Salmani.

The short flick has previously participated in several festivals, including the Best of Latin America Short Film Festival and the Flickfair Film Festival, both in the US, as well as the Alter do Chão Film Festival in Brazil.

The NIIF is an opportunity for independent filmmakers, writers, photographers and musicians to share their works with the world.

The 2021 edition of the event will be held on May 5.
